Troy Fumagali, TE, average size/slow/white and completely unremarkable in every way, look for Broncos/Kubiak to take him 2nd or 3rd round.

I actually agree with Sims - except for Allen. Some compare him to Kyle Boller but I think Allen’s upside is more like Derek Anderson. I’d have put Allen tied with Darnold for 4th.

Here's a look at what Mayfield's responsibilities were on the field, especially for people that think his style won't translate to the NFL. Good quotes from his coach here (though admittedly I don't think he'd say anything bad about the guy ... unless the coach was Jim Mora). Anyway:

Before the lights go down and the film clicks on, Riley answers everybody's first question: Just how much responsibility does Mayfield have within the framework of the offense? In other words, how much of it is Riley, and how much is Mayfield?

“He’s probably got more responsibility here than he would have with any NFL team he would go to,” Riley says.

“Some places do it where you hold up a board on the sideline and he tells everybody what to do and he doesn’t have any communication responsibilities, but he plays a larger hand here, a pivotal role.

“Mentally, he’s the best one I’ve ever been around, and I’ve been around some good ones. There’s not gonna be a guy walk in and process what this guy can process. That’s not gonna be an issue at the next level, regardless of the system or amount of verbiage.”

    The quarterbacks Riley has coached...

    Dominique Davis
    Brad Wornick
    Rio Johnson
    Shane Carden
    Baker Mayfield

I would agree that Baker Mayfield is probably the best he's seen in all of those capacities.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

One positive thing I'll say about him is that he seems to play fast - quick decisions, quick release. So I could see where in time he could have some success - I just worry that most of what he's learned at OU won't translate, so he's just going to need time to come up to speed.

Kinger.....I still want Nelson, but the more I watch Rosen's highlights to more I'm liking him. He was impressive against aTm.....I watched the whole game the other day. The concussions are very concerning, though.

I think the concussions are the only legitimate concern for him. He's mobile, he's got the arm, he's brilliant, he's tough, he's a great passer. His teammates do like him, and he probably, at most, needs to gain a few pounds. He's the prototypical QB.

He's got a high ceiling and a high floor. He could very well be the best overall QB in the draft, and he's the safest pick, too. He's also going to be a Jet, and that's going to make me sad.

If we take Nelson, I'll support him. If I could manage to root for TS, I can support a real NFL talent like Nelson.
