Kelly is a better prospect then Rosen, Darnold, Allen, and Mayfield.

IF....he can keep his head on straight. I do agree that Kelly played against tougher defenses, and managed to play at a high level. He's been away from the game for a while now, seeing live action. I wonder if he'll be the same as he was at Ole Miss.

He also didnt play against elite teams.

I get people say that Allen didn't have great completion percentage but I am not concern with that.
You should be because it matters.

Its not his fault who had played or didn't. We will have a chance to see how he compares at the Senior Ball to guys that will play in the NFL. Also the completion percentage might be a stat that no longer matters at the college level with the number of teams playing some type of spread offense.
"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers

They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

Tim Tebow broke a UF record for completion percentage. Of course the experts and prognosticators convinced him that he needed an entirely new throwing motion, they overly tinkered with it and his ability to pass went away.

Anyway, Tebow broke a record at UF for completion percentage.

    Just saying.

Its not his fault but if you are going to use an excuse that he didnt have any good support players than it needs to be pointed out that the level of competition he faced wasnt all that great either. Especially in college where a large percentage of players dont even make it in the NFL.

And Tebow did it against much better competition so just imagine a guy who struggles against inferior competition with accuracy.

I didn't watch one game of Allen's...ever. I guess it doesn't matter, because I'm on the Nelson train.

The majority of the Mountain West is more talented than Wyoming. It’s been that way for a long time. They’re essentially the Kentucky of the Mountain West

Lol, the Mountain West is nothing like the SEC, ACC, etc. That is my point.

Most scouts look at QBs regardless of the conference to see if they can make the throws. It certainly DOES NOT bode well for Allen that he did not complete 60% of his passes. In his ONE FULL SEASON he threw 15 ints. He was injured for a big part of this season. I have no idea what he has that makes him first round material. How, is Chad Kelly not a better prospect than that?

Yes, I do agree with you that the competition they play against plays a part. Which is why I tend to stay away from those Big XII QBs. I will bet they play better defense in the Mountain West than that conference.

And my point is, when Allen faces teams like Boise or Fresno, Wyoming is at a disadvantage of talent.

This appears to be the roster for the Senior Bowl North team - we get to coach Mayfield AND Allen (plus Luke Falk):

I've had a boring day at work so I've watched a ton of Mayfield stuff, I'm starting to love this guy. MO will call me an idiot but I like this guys arm and his fire.

But don't worry MO, the fact that I like him means we won't draft him.
    Let's Rid3!!!!
