does the term "spread offense" even have meaning any more? every NFL team incorporates plenty of 3-wide sets, and lots of teams run 3-wide as a base. . . is there really anything else to a "spread" besides that? like, does a true spread use different routes or route concepts, or something like that? or is it just a generic term to indicate the extensive use of multiple WR sets, and a more generally pass-oriented approach?

Finished watching the game. That was an awesome win for MSU. I really like that freshman QB we played. Pretty amazing that his first career start he beats the heisman trophy winner.
And yeah, Jackson had a rough day with those 4 picks.
