I don't want any of the QBs in the first round unless it's Darnold. He's the only one I'm confident in to be a long term success, and while some point to the turnovers in college as a reason to wary, I'll tell you there's a reason he's widely considered to be the top prospect. His natural ability is off the charts, the intangibles are there and while he has plenty of room to improve, he can make plays and throws that no one else could in college last year. A lot of his weaknesses were compounded by the fact that he lost so much talent on offense, injuries, etc. Yes, he was sloppy with the ball at times, but I can overlook that for the natural ability and he absolutely has it. I don't think there's any chance he falls to us at 5, but if by some miracle we have a chance at drafting him, we have to take him. But we won't, so I'm on board with BPA.

The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
Fun article here from the Ringer’s lead college football writer (though probably less fun if you hate Mayfield and love Allen):

want nothing to do with any of these "1st round" qbs.
Rosen is total douche. Mayfield didnt even read the Chargers playbook in interviews because "they will draft too low". He also basically ignored the Chicago Bears when they tried to talk to him, saying shit like "you guys just draft tribusky, etc"
Alot of red flags.
