    Nice!

I ended up -11 after 9 holes. Got a HIO on Hole 2.

On the green. Mid-range putt. Nothing too scary, but a decent break.

I line it up. Flag is in the air, and the cup is glowing blue with my blue line right into the center of it. I hit the putt "perfect", and it lips out. . ..
Yep, it's because you put your power too high. I've done that before.

I get here at 8, answer emails count the cash box and set up the shop in 30 minutes. The boat leaves at 9. I'm here from 9-5 at least every day. It gets boring.

It's funny you said that though because I was playing and some ladies came in to rent snorkel gear and I was finishing up a shot while talking to them, like hold n just a sec, I'll get your gear together but let me hit this shot first.

I think possibly I had too little speed. But assumed (apparently incorrectly) that if the hole was lit up and the putt was "perfect" that it would go in. I will not make that mistake again.

I've been on a hell of a losing streak. Losing shoot-outs, very closely. Had to drop back down to a lower tour because I ran out of money.

Nothing in particular to pin it on. Just losing out close every time I turn around, and every once in a while running into a club monster who just has me supremely outclubbed.

As an example, in the midst of this stretch, I have a guy on the ropes. I've putted in for Eagle, and he's in a trap a significant distance from the hole. . . Well, he holes out, which wasn't all that worrisome. Then we go to the shoot-out. I am < 1 yard from the pin. He hits what appears to be a miss-hit, aimed at what appears to be an absolute mistake. .. but it ends up in the cup for a hole-in-one. In other words, if he actually hit it like he wanted, he would have missed badly, but he accidentally holed it. FML.

Played like shit today. Lucky if it's top 25.

Par on 17. Hit the bunker with the approach and didn't save it. Got an effing bogey on 7. My clammy ass finger slipped off the tablet then I blew the par putt.

I eagled 2/11 both times too.

Hopefully I do better on the other account.

    There's a -26 in my bracket already.

    It's going to take a -25 or -26 to get a top 3.

-24 is too common. You need a HIO or two or an eagle on 1/10. Something like that. Plus play mistake free.

YOur -25 will be a good tiebreaker, hawg.

Lipped out 2 HIO and an albatross on 15, the one where you bounce off the island. Agonizingly close.

    Maybe a top 10.
