I believe the Bills thought the Jets would rollover like the Raiders did.

Was working for a company out here and they went out of business. Wife and I decided since we would have to move from where we are regardless, let's just take a proper evaluation.

We decided on Vermont. Small population but has tech jobs (working remotely for a company there now), beautiful state, I was born in NY so it is close to my family, and in the end...mainly just something new and exciting.

I will be working just south of Burlington when we move out there, we are planning to live just north of Burlington as house are quite a bit cheaper the further away from Burlington you go.

According to this, the Thursday night games started in 2006, and the Broncos played the first ever Thursday night game at Kansas City on November 23rd, if this is correct:

Thursday November 23 Denver Broncos 10–19 Kansas City Chiefs Arrowhead Stadium First prime-time Thanksgiving game in NFL history held in the request of Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt, who had asked the NFL to schedule a third game for years. At the time of the game, Hunt was hospitalized in Dallas, Texas, and died weeks later at the age of 74.

So, the Thursday night game killed the founder of the Chiefs?
