This seems simple and probably is, I am just verifying...
I have a script reading from a xml file with exchange rates from EUR to other countries.
Right now it says USD is 1.1612, so exchange rate is .86.
I also need US to Canadian.
I know from the XML that is it 1 EUR = 1.4986 CAD.
Can I not simply do .86 * 1.4986 to get the USD to Canada?
I have done that multiplication and while it is almost to the penny it is not completely to the penny of conversion tools I am seeing online and I am not sure if I am being dumb here, or if it is simply maybe the data is just varied with the timing the tools have updated.
