Mediocre prospect? No...Sorry but that's dead wrong.... Prior to his injury and off the field issue he was very highly projected so you are misinformed...

Had he left in 2016, he would have been in the same level as Paxton in the eyes of NFL scouts which means he would have likely gone in the top 3 rounds.

Farrell’s Take: Kelly is a wild card. He has the talent for sure – a good arm, confidence and he can extend plays. A four-star out of high school, the off-field questions were the reason he was undervalued a bit.
He's a good prospect, he has the talent and ability, his off-field antics held him back. If he's matured and gotten them under control, he's got first round talent and arm. His head was always the issue (that and the fact that he got injured) Don't get hung up on his draft pick.

Easily was a far more polished player than predecessor prospects in Denver like Lymch and Tebow

He's got the ability to be a QB in the NFL, it's just if he can keep his head on straight and stay healthy. Hopefully we see consistent weekly growth out of him the rest of the preseason now that he's been promoted.

If we don’t improve hopefully we will be looking at a new coaching staff sooner then later. I knew the new year was going to be awful when we didn’t fire Joseph. He is dull and uninspiring while he inherited a lackluster offensive line and a dubious QB situation he didn’t even attempt to lead via passion and emotion even Josh McD said, all we are trying to do is win a m.f. game on national television. The point is as big of a drama king and ego maniac as he was he tried but players didn’t buy in, if Joseph doesn’t show some fire in his belly this year and we remain mediocre the door should be shown to him.

    Stealing Paxton’s girl now
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Undervalued a :bit:? He was the last pick of the draft, you don't fall to the last pick of the draft because of off the field stuff if your a good prospect.

If Kelly ends up elite then great because he's a Broncos quarterback, I just don't see it yet.
