Because I think we can all agree that winning the superbowl is better than this. Why would that team be compared?

WEll, now at 3-7 the Broncos have the #4 pick of the NFL draft, behind #1 0-10 Browns, #2 1-9 49ers, #3 2-8 Giants, #4 Denver. They could guarantee getting one of their pick of top NFL QB prospects, and they might not even have to move up to get a great one.

But, they are going to have to keep developing Paxton apparently, because John Elway will not ever give up on that obsession. But, that won't stop them drafting a QB so they will have protection either way: If they make a mistake and draft another guy who doesn't work out, then they have hopefully developed Paxton by that time, and he can start.

If the guy develops quickly, and Paxton sucks you have the new Franchise QB, congrats! If both develop, then you can do whatever you want and have a great trade bait - just like the Patriots got a high 2nd round pick for Jimmy Garapolo, who they weren't even using since Tom Brady just keeps sailing along.

I think we can all agree a six or eight game winning streak (whatever it was) and a playoff win is better than a six game losing streak. So I don't see the comparison.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Yep, there's nothing controversial or debatable about the SB win. Everyone agrees that was awesome. So what's there to discuss? That's why the Tebow era is so highly discussed, because of how polarizing it was/is.

That QB made up for physical deficiencies by being able to read a defense probably better than any quarterback in NFL history.

Until his body simply couldn't do it anymore.

If only we had kyle shanahan we'd have the #2 pick.

While I still think he's full of it, Jaded just said he prefers this year to that one.

Probably because it's annoying that people are still posting in every thread about wanting a quarterback from six years ago who hasn't played in a game in five and is currently a minor league baseball player and college football analyst.

    It's a broncos forum.

    Sorry if it annoys you.

It's not just that either. Tebow left after what was basically pulling a playoff run out of his ass, regardless of who you believe should get credit of the series of events that led there.

It's easy to throw out statistics and claim he sucks and claim that it could not have continued. But we will never know. Which makes it fun to talk about. Or extremely annoying, depending on who you are.

If by pulling a P.O. run out of his ass you mean riding the defenses coattails while stinking it up for 58 minutes a game, then yeah, Tebow basically pulled PO’s out of his ass.

Yes, the coattails of the same defense that decided they shouldn't bother showing up for Kyle Orton.

It’s not enjoyable to watch a professional QB play like that, at all, I have permanent chronic muscle damage from rolling my eyes after Tebow “won” the game after being literally the worst player on the field week after week. I still get headaches.
