And Harbaugh has worked with a GM in charge his entire career as HC....

    Your point isn't valid.

So what’s the issue with harbaugh
John or Jim? I would go for John no problem. His ability to work with other coaches and affection for Kubes would be a soothing balm after this fiasco. Jim is an arrogant douche and there is no way he works with Elway. Both egos are too big

John Elway picked "yes" men to coach his team each time and Harbaugh isn't a yes man. First Fox, and when Fox didn't do what he wanted, Kubiak, his old friend. Then Kubiak and he developed conflicts, reportedly over Elway's wanting to promote Paxton over Trevor, then Kubiak left due to health issues.

Kubiak showed Elway exactly what he thought of his darling boy Paxton during the final game of the 2016 season when he was supposed to play Paxton in the 2nd half, but he didn't even sniff the field. That was his way of telling Elway off on his way out the door.

Elway picked VJ who was just glad to get the job and was willing to have a "QB competition" between Paxton and Trevor when it was obvious after week 1 of training camp that Paxton was still a bust in year two.

When that blew up in Elway's face, he almost fired VJ, but decided for some reason to keep him on for 1 more year to see what he could do with another year. Well, now we know.

Do you really believe Elway is going to give up total control over every aspect of "his" team? No.

Will Harbaugh come here and coach under Elway? No.

I say that neither of them are coming here because Elway isn't just the GM. He's in absolute and total command of virtually everything. He dictated who should be the starting QB the last 3 seasons, which is why the Broncos kept trying to hand the starting job to Paxton all those times, even when everybody in the stadium could see that Paxton sucked and wasn't ready (he still isn't).

He's going to dictate when the rookie QB they draft will play. He's going to make all the personnel decisions without having the coach be able to have much influence over that.

In short, this is Elway's team, not the next head coaches. In fact, there's a chance, I keep hearing on the radio from guys like Dave Logan, that VJ still might be back if the team manages to go 8-8.

I don't know how you feel about that, but my view is "Hell no!" We know what VJ can do and it isn't much. He gets out coached on a weekly basis.

Wow, you continue to bend reality to your argument... Elway has the same amount of control Ozzie has exerted over Harbaugh his entire career... you have not made a single reasonable argument why Harbaugh wouldn’t work for Elway or why Elway wouldn’t want Harbaugh.

Nice try though. I’ll give you a B- for effort, you typed a lot without providing anything new of substance.

Yeah im not buying that either. Experienced Coaches want to win and like it or not they are still only a few years removed from being playoff contenders. Theyre a QB and a T away.

He and his staff failing to challenge the two point conversion is yet another example of his staff's dysfunction.

I like how our offense rolls when #30 is in the game, yet he goes to the sidelines every other play and is never on the field in the last 2 minutes because Davonte Booker is soooo epic in the passing game and such an amazing pass blocker. Genius use of your best playmaker VJ

He's gotta learn how to block first for that.

A RB that size might not last that long doing that.

Lindsay is a rotational RB, odds say, not many backs his size that carry the burden of being a bellcow.

He's a black undrafted Christian McCaffrey. Why don't you love him more?

He's better than CM. CM is in a perfect environment and is worse at running the ball. Switch teams and Freeman's yards go up and CM's yards go down. CM is a better pass catcher, but also dumber.

    Freeman all day.

Sometimes you overstate your position to make a point.

That's why no one likes you.
