Thread: Fire Vance Joseph

We took the best player on the team off of the field...on a drive they scored on. That same player then goes out and gets a sack, maybe a sack and a half. Benching him is questionable.

Calling him out for it is stupid.

Not only that but when you are still in the playoff hunt you dont take your best players off the field, you just dont. Oh but wait, VJ does so he must be coach of the year!

Maybe you overlook it if he's really strong in some other area - like Andy Reid - you overlook his clock management issues because the guy is an offensive guru.

Aside from being a nice guy, I don't see what VJ's redeeming qualities are as a HC. He's kind of adequate sometimes, I guess, but there needs to be a higher bar than that.
Literally the only thing he has to hang his hat on after two years is squeaking by the Steelers and Chargers and almost sniffing the playoff picture for a week. And even that Steelers win isn't looking as impressive now. Just the Jets and 49ers games alone should be fireable offenses. Not to mention the Texans game which we lost directly because of poor coaching decisions.

I'll say it again though, I don't think he's getting fired. We're going to go 8-8 and that will be good enough for Elway to bring him back. I hope I'm wrong.

Last year there were plenty of QB's.

This year we'll have to see. I would hate to have to sit back and regret Chubb because we didn't have the fortitude to cut bait with PL.

It's hard to believe that we didn't see a QB that we believed could be the man.
I'm sure that's not why he passed on Rosen. Elway wants winning more than letting something that idiotic effect his decision

Chubb is the reason he passed on Rosen. Any other excuse is just dumb.

I want him gone like McRibs near King. Like wine coolers near Buff. Like hookers near Dave.

I still would rather have Chubb over any of the QBs that were available.

Can one of you folks in Denver get the media's attention and start camping on a billboard, or go on a hunger strike, or hold an orphanage hostage......you know, something like that until they fire VJ? Come on people, do it for all of us.

I honestly don’t think we’re going 8-8. We have no passing game to speak of. The word is out, load up to stop Lindsay and Keenum will be easy to stop. I’d be surprised to win another game. Cleveland is gonna smoke us and at this point Jokeland is a wash. They have a good QB and TE so that alone could beat us. Then there’s the Chargers. If they come to play, we lose. If they rest starters, we might still lose. Our 2 worst losses were against a rookie QB and a 3rd string QB.

Our record will be 6-10 or 7-9 at best. We will retain VJ because of the injury excuse and because the record improved a little. So, pretty much the worst outcome imaginable.

McD would be a strict upgrade and it's not even close. Especially since he can't touch the roster with Elway in charge.

He’d just quit on this team so he could spend another year in Belicheats bosom.
