50 years since this happened. 7 in a row.

Anyone defending VJ for another year or two.

No one is defending him. Just being realistic and realizing that John is not going to fire his hand picked choice after one season.

I can’t believe people are still getting upset after a loss, it’s over.

We should all be getting used to it.

Elway could easily find a qualified coach that won't drop 7 in a row with the talent on our roster.
You are goofy if you think theres anything that any coach could do to help the Broncos offense not be pathetic. If the defense wasnt so doninant in years past you woulda seen plenty long losing streaks. Drop the bullshit mile high pride act... This doesnt happen here crap.... Get real.

I'm normally more patient, but evidence points toward a bad coach who has created and abided by a bad culture.

A 3-1 strong start into 7 game skid, a faceplant after the bye, taking a solid 9-7 team into the abyss...damning evidence.

What happened after the 3-1 start? The got damn quarterback started playing poor as hell like we all knew he would. The broncos are only a quarterback and 2 more linemen away from contenders again. Elway knows this and he's not gonna fire his guy over personnel decisions he made.

3 and 1 start? With the exception of the Cowboys game, the Broncos have sucked. Yes, even in the Raiders game. They were doing great in the opening Chargers game, then the team revealed what they were all about in that game too.

The 3 and 1 start was fools gold and some of us pointed it out. That is why many coaches are not pleased, even after wins.

Im sorry there is absolutely ZERO chance VJ returns. He will resign or get fired and he may not make it through the Season if it gets to like 10 in a row. Im surprised he didn't resign already and Elway didn't fire him yet.

Soft was a shot at the Coach IMO not just the players
