Maybe. But I would bet Marty Mornenwing is out before Harbaugh.

Reports are reports. Nothing is going to be decide till the offseason.

Ok... so let's all stop taking until then?

If Harbaugh is available would you still prefer Wisenhunt?

Well I mean, if reports are just reports, shouldn't we be discussing what VJ's coaching tenure will look like with us in 2019

Since no HC has ever won a SB for two different teams, yes I would prefer Wisenhunt.

That's pretty bizarre reasoning. There have only been 52 super bowls. That is a very small sample size. No QB had ever won super bowls for two teams either, then Manning did it. That would be just about the worst reason possible not to hire Harbaugh.

No one has ever done anything until they've done it. No QB had ever won a Superbowl with two different teams, should we have stayed away from Manning for that same reasoning?

One of the reasons why no coach has done it is that back in the day you became a coach when you were old. If you were good enough to win a SB, you stuck around forever. By the time you left you were ancient or just done with the game.

Harbaugh isn't the coaching equal to a shot fighter, either. It's not like he's at the end of the rope and has nothing left.

It would be a nice hire, even though he's more of a ST and D based coach.

Good point. It's probably exceedingly rare at all that a super bowl winning coach even coached for another team after that at all, making that sample size even smaller.

Harbaugh is still a young guy and has always kept his teams competitive. It would be a great hire.

Yea, he's still a young dude, not anywhere near retirement age and if he can get us competitive, he can stick around and keep us competitive for years to come. It would be a solid hire.

Nobody named Wisenhunt has ever won a SB as a HC either.

Thats a win. Hed be one of the best options available and a low risk move by Elway to avpid criticism.

I don't think Elway is worried about avoiding criticism, beyond the fact that success avoids it, but the success is what matters not the lack of criticism.
