After the way he left? Adam Gase wouldn't take another job from Elway if his hair were on fire, and Elway wouldn't have him either. They can't stand each other after the way Elway fired him. That bridge was burned down and the ashes poured water on and the ashes stirred and then more water poured on and felt with the hand just to make sure the ashes are now cold. Smokey Bear would approve of of how extinguished that flame is on both sides of that bridge.

I enjoy it when people suggest funny things though and I admit I got a laugh of the thought of Elway having to introduce Adam Gase as his new Head Coach and choking.

A Hue Jackson / Vance Joseph pairing in Cincinnati would be a tremendous train wreck. King would love it

Is Cincinnati that dumb? To hire two failed HC's to lead the team?

To sell in the NFL is to sell the hope for the next season, the promise of greener pastures. If it's not a championship, keep making noises to indicate the possibility of championship next year. Extreme turnover is baked into the system, and turnover, all else equal, is a negative.

To sell in the NFL is to get a better pick and better talent and give yourself more options on draft day. Draft day is the day that championship runs are crafted, even if it takes awhile to come to fruition. Sure, maybe winning games that mean nothing for the playoffs might matter to Cleveland because they're own the up and up for the first time since they went 11-5 and missed the playoffs (tough luck) but for us? No. We keep deluding ourselves that we're contending. We need a reality check.

God I hope we lose. It cements getting rid of a struggling HC who hasn't flashed much promise. And it gives us more options for drafting player on a team with more than it's fair share of holes.

Elway needs to really appreciate where this team is. In order to do that, there must be no mistaking where we're at. Two losses here is best for the future.

I don’t think draft position matters that much. Talent is everyone in the draft. And developing those draft picks post draft is even more important. We aren’t in a Suck for Luck position anyway.

Wanting to lose is for losers. It’s just as infectious as winning.

I'll remember that the Broncos swept the Chargers & Raiders. Have some pride in the Broncos, King.
