I wouldn’t pay Cousins what he’s going to get even if they didn’t have Miller, talk about overpaid.

I’m curious what the coverages were at that point. We were down by 3 scores. I would assume the coverages were all soft at that point, although I didn’t watch on tv.

PFF’s pass rush productivity is a metric for measuring pressure created on a per snap basis. It is weighted toward sacks, but includes all of the other ways a pass rusher can move a quarterback of their spot or hurry them into their progressions.

At 16.1, only The Miami Dolphins Cameron Wake is close at 16.0. No other player is above 14.8 in PFF’s pass rush productivity metric.

The sacks may not be up there in the double digits yet, but Miller is wrecking havoc in the backfield all the same. Those sacks will start piling up at the rate he is going.
    Trade Von Miller....

I suppose that it's no use trying to explain how markets work? That the price of goods is determined by demand and scarcity (i.e. supply). There is no such thing as "overpaid." Compared to what? Some arbitrary number you think is "Fair?"

When a QB becomes a FA his price is decided by how highly other teams value his services and how high they are willing to bid to obtain them. If there are a lot of good QBs available, then teams won't pay more, when there are fewer they will pay more.

The Broncos will pay whatever they need to and not more. Morality don't enter into it.

Miller would have gotten more $ if he were an unrestricted FA. He is the most desirable defensive player in the league.

He’s a good football player too.

Anybody who thinks miller must go are tripping hard! Von Miller guarantee you a double team, which is why oir d line has been so effective.

One reason, that's for sure, not taking away from Domata, Wolfe, and Gotsis.

But this is a totally different defense without Von. With the state of affairs on the offense,
it's almost as if he gives them the only chance to win.
