coupled with the fact they lost. pack it in.
I lust after Tatum.
No other team had the assets the Celtics had to make that trade. It wasn't luck that got Boston those assets. It was skill and patience.
You think Cleveland wanted to trade Kyrie to the Celtics? That's the last team they wanted to trade with.
That's a dumb take Mo and it's even dumber of NTL to high five it.
Unless you're suggesting John Elway impregnated Kathy Luck with a gene-fabricated uber prospect 22 years before he knew he'd need a quarterback as the Broncos GM and then sent a black ops team to surgically damage Peyton Manning's neck in 2009 in the dark of night and purposefully sabotaged the Colts' backup quarterback acquisitions, then yes. There was some luck involved. Sure, it had to take Elway's closing skills and his GM ability to assemble a team attractive to Manning, but the timing also had to be perfect for it to happen and there's some luck involved.
Just like Ainge had the assets to go get Kyrie, but unless he orchestrated Kyrie's trade demand in a different organization, then there's a certain level of luck and timing involved.
I am sad this site has become so homerish. Its sad.
Guys, OKC was lucky to get Paul George because the Pacers were not going to trade him within the Eastern Conference.
