Schlereth suggested Elway was, but that was debunked because someone from the media tweeted that Elway said it was up to VJ. It made sense at the time because I couldn't comprehend why you'd keep him in at times during the last 3 games

I find it hard to believe that Elway would want the 7th round pick to start over the 2 guys he previously drafted to be the QBotF.

I’ve heard a lot this year. I even heard Lynch might start this Sunday after not practicing the last two months. That nugget came from Schefter.

VJ made it abundantly clear at his presser that the one thing he can't tolerate is turnovers that take you out of games. And Trevor had 3 games to fix his habit of staring down his receivers and telegraphing his throws, and he utterly failed to do so. So, they replaced him.

Probably he and Elway were in accord on this one. Schlereth was speaking before VJ's presser. Personally I was non-plussed by any thought of starting Paxton. You don't do that until the season is irretrievably lost.

I sure as Hell am not going to look at that crap. Thirteen minutes of fail is it? And what would be the point? To prove the OL was crap? Anybody who watched the games knows that! I don't need to see it all concentrated.

I didn't watch all of it, but enough of it to recognize just how many times Trevor had time and just started panicking and running around in the pocket rather than letting loose to his open WR's

That video just says to me that Trevor plays the game's as if its practice and he doesn't have to release the ball because hes not going to be hit, he doesn't have to step or or side step because he's not going to be hit. If the Broncos start another qb competition based in practice tomorrow Trevor would win again.
