What is it about them that I should like? I've been to Washington DC and I've not been to Vegas. That should be enough, right?

I don't like how teams like Nashville, Columbus, and Minnesota were left with everyone's 4th line guys while Vegas is able to pick all stars. They should have to suffer like everyone else, not be able to pick a team better than half of the league right off of the bat. They're lucky as ****. We will see how Seattle does with the same rules.

Damn dude, just asking a question. No need to get so defensive.

Kinda seems like a little bit of revisionist history to call them some sort of unfairly stacked team though. They had the worst odds in the league to win the cup before the season started. Clearly they have far outpreformed anyone's wildest predictions.

They had different rules. Teams had to give up better players. Without the rule change they don't have better players. Then they don't play as well. Unless worse players play better. Idk. There's a reason expansion teams struggle. The NHL didn't want that to happen in Vegas because they wanted them to be able to build a fan base. I think they overdid it, but that's just my opinion.

Ovechkin took the Cup to the MGM, a club with some DJ that is apparently famous, passed out with it and then carried it to the team plane.

    That’s pretty cool.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Pekka will be 36 this year so I’m glad he finally got his Vezina. Now he needs a Stanley Cup before he retires.

    Hes all correct.
They were able to fill their team with starters and top 6 forwards and top 4 d men. Most teams do not have all of that and they did it all so that Vegas would win and get a big fan base. It is imperative that Vegas do really well (which I am a proponent of). I cant wait for a quick weekend to vegas to watch the avs or broncos. That is going to be so much fun.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
