That sucks. Fortunately for him it's not season-ending.
I posted this in the game thread - I read that Romo and Newton both had this before and both were back after a week, FWIW
SO much for their SB aspirations and proclamations.
Yep. As i stated before, the scheme that Manuel was running wasnt what Carr was running. Once they started to spread out our defense they were able to pick us apart at will. But then Manuel was Manuel with the game ending INT. Thank the lord for small favors.
I don't know much about Manuel, so I did a wiki search. All I can say after seeing his breakdown is...
LET'S GO YANKEES!!!!
Only good news is the next two games are winnable. Baltimore sucks and the Chargers are the straw from which Baltimore sucks from. The next five games are the soft underbelly of our schedule except for a kidney stone in the middle.
vs. Ravens
vs Chargers
vs Chiefs (Thursday)
@ Jay Cutler
@ Tyrod Taylor
Winnable games except for KC. We shall see.
We ran the same defense against Manuel that we run against everyone. Most teams would have sat back in zone but we stayed in man and brought the pressure. It didn’t have to do with scheme, EJ played well.
