Default If this saints dolphins game is what they are selling to Europe! Wow...

Finally all of the various ambiguous rules the owners add every year (mainly to create more fines and perception for the sake of safety) has made the game virtually unwatchable.

Is anyone else watching this pure crap going on in England right now?

What a complete joke. Every other play the refs stop the play, have some discussion. It is such a joke.

    Brees just did a QB sneak...with no timeouts....with 30 seconds left....gained 2 yards...on second down.....

There is more than one reason this game is suffering. Over saturation of the game, the countless rules, the concussion issue, anthem stuff.....

Game is dying. Missing the days of John Facenda with Sam Spence accompaniment. That was when it was truly great.

It is pretty sad that two weeks in a row the games have been snoozers. I dont know if its just because they have to fly over so far away or what but the product does seem to be suffering a bit.

No one knows what types of tackles anyone could make. No one knows what pass interference is (that was always a problem). Every play looks like everyone is walking on eggshells. Still, every other play is a stop and a discussion.

Just one more thing about American culture that is being systematically taken apart.

I dont get when teams try to be cute when its so obvious.

Dolphins did a trio of WR on the left. To get D focused on left side, but they hand off to right. And get blown up.

I wish teams would stop trying to be cute and just run it at each other, screw a distraction, put 3 tes and run.

And how the Saints are using Peterson is a travesty.

He should have came to Denver or anywhere that actually leans on the run.

In all fairness to the Saints, that was really Peterson's call. I mean the Saints have been platooning backs for a while now. Ingram just came off of a rather productive season. They drafted a back they intended to use in the draft. Peterson is injury prone and over 30.

In the history of football, very few RBs have been productive after they turn 30. cannot really think of any. No other position in football completely falls off a cliff from one season to another like the RB position.

He would have been a problem for this team. I think. Kind of surprised he did not go to the Pats, after they did not resign Blount. Then again, they really platoon backs too. Really every team does. Broncos too.

I have pretty much noticed all of the games are like this.

This is when the game was wonderful to watch....no you just need to listen to the music and imagine Facenda building the drama. Many people think it was just Facenda. I say it was Facenda with the Sam Spence music.

    Those days are gone.....

This is more egregious than last week. At least that game was a classic beatdown with one team putting on a clinic.

This one is just both teams sleepwalking.

Both teams are a similar flight time from London as they are San Francisco. I am guessing.

    So I don't think it's the distance.

I think the turf, the crowd (or lack of it in a meaningful way) and the distraction of every pre game bring like a a mini meaningless Superbowl turn the Wembley games into an exhibition. The players play accordingly

I hate the Wembley games, I have been to four of them, and unless the Broncos are in town, won't go to another (unless I swindle another cheeky wee freebie lol)

Not allowed to push QBs in the chest. Cannot tackle them by their legs. Certainly cannot hit them above the shoulders.

Did you all see that call on Suh?

    LOL
