I think the bigger issue is that these kinds of wins are not sustainable.

Romo was raving a lot about the crowd noise and atmosphere.
That year was so rare, though. Granted, Denver was averaging the same number of points per game after four games that year as this year. I just don't find that type of play sustainable enough to have two 12-4, deep playoff run years with offense not doing much at all in a four-year period.
And I think the 18 points per game in weeks 1, 3 and 4 is more indicative of the type of offense this team has rather than the 42 points it scored in week two.
I don't know if they showed the anthem oom tv, but it was played by a saxophonist, about a 1/4th of the way through, the fans were singing the words. With all the crap the last couple weeks it felt like a really special moment.
It was exactly how it should be, loud and rowdy the second the raiders got the ball and really quiet when Broncos had it. And it was as loud on first down as on fourth. By the end of the game the board said there have been 16 noise induced false starts or forced timeouts. 4 today.

Simmons was the highest graded Bronco overall with an 88.1 and Parks right behind him in second with a 85.2 grade. Siemian faced more pressure than any other QB in week 4 and had the 4th best adjusted completion percentage.
S Justin Simmons (88.1) and Will Parks (85.2)
Denver’s strong safeties were both a major force in this game. Will Parks was consistently making plays around the box, and his only negative came on a play where he ran onto the field late and didn’t get the defensive call, allowing TE Jared Cook free behind the first wave of the defense. Simmons made the game-sealing interception, high-pointing the ball and taking it away from WR Amari Cooper.
QB Trevor Siemian, 76.4 overall grade
Siemian was strong throughout the game, dominating at the intermediate (10-19-yard) level, going 7-for-8 for 128 yards and a touchdown. He finished 16-of-26 overall, but his adjusted completion percentage of 81.8 percent ranked fourth in the NFL this week. Perhaps more impressive, Siemian was under pressure on 54.8 percent of his dropbacks, highest in the NFL this week, but he consistently found the open man and made plays both within and outside of the structure of the offense.

Missed the game this week because I was on a plane out of state to start new job. Work should never get in the way of football..
Question, would we have won if Carr hadn't gone down?
