And last until he took 1 more big hit and his back gives out again? Literally the last 3 big hits he's taken put him out for the season.
No. He clearly made the right decision to retire. And the Broncos not guaranteeing that contract was a big part of it, yet they would be crazy to guarantee his big contract with that injury history.
Romo was never the answer and now he's dropped about 25 lbs and is not in football shape. That ship has sailed.

Not trying to hear it cugel, Romo would last the rest of the season. His body is as fresh as it's ever been. He didnt just take big hits he took big ackward hits and that's what hurt him. I have seen Romo take tons of big hits and get up but those awkward big one's did put a hurting on him.

Can you imagine if QB Tony Romo and OT Joe Thomas come to Denver? Unfortunately, It didn't happen.

Heard nobody at all liked Simms in Denver but Romo hopefully will bring his A game in the booth. Much better sportscaster than a QB to be honest.

All I do know is I appreciate Simms for a few reasons.

I know a lot of people could not stand Simms. I guess I was not as bothered by him. Collinsworth annoys me more.

I still think Collinsworth is the best color guy. I can see why some people don't like him though, you can pretty much HEAR his smirk while he's speaking.
