Default Week 2 Power Rankings by Mason

So Andrew Mason just said this is his top 5 after two weeks

    1. Pitt
    2. KC
    3. Oakland
    4. Atlanta
    5. Denver

    6. New England

    Thoughts?

He went into detail about how NE's defense in this post-Hightower era keeps them out of the top 5. Offense is good, but ...

Hightower hurt them, but they have more than lb issues on that defense.

I don't really buy Pittsburgh as the best team - I think they have one of the most potent offenses, but I don't think they've looked like the best team thus far. KC looks like the most complete team to me.

    1. KC
    2. NE
    3. ATL
    4. PIT
    5. DEN
    6. OAK

I struggle with Oakland and New England. I think both of their defenses are flawed but their offenses kind of counterbalance.

I also think Minnesota is a totally different team with Bradford at QB, and they'd be higher if he wouldn't have gotten hurt for this week.

I'm surprised Baltimore isn't in that mix. I guess Yanda is injured?

Pittsburgh is a hit and miss team. The defense of theirs improved, I guess? They arguably have a top five QB, center, and top three WR, RB, so I get it. But they err a lot.

    KC looks great.

    Oakland looks great.

    ATL looks great.

    Denver looks great.

    NE...eh?

The real issue with P*tri*ts defense is the fact that TB12 is gay.

It’s tough to tell how good NE is. Their defense is suspect and 11 of us could put up 30 on the Saints.

It's week 2. Kinda like college football rankings, it's a little early to take rankings serious.
