Oh, valid point. I thought you meant all starters, you should take the time to be more descriptive, don't be shy. Jaded

This is honestly the worst possible thing that can happen right now to the sport of football. People are already tired of football, the politicizing of the NFL (regardless of which way you leaned which is not relevant to this discussion) has damaged people's interest as is. Attendance is down. People aren't watching football like they used to and New England yet again winning a ring isn't going to improve that.

There really isn't anyone outside of New England that wants to see that doosh Brady win another Superbowl ring...

i won't watch it. . . the pansies held all game long yesterday, and didn't get called for it once. . . they had a grand total of one penalty called against them for ten yards-- jax got dinged for about a hundred yards. . . it was the lowest number of penalties called on one team in a playoff game since 2011. . . yes, you guessed it-- that was against new england also. . . there's no point watching the refs give them another title-- and you know that shit's coming. . .

Great point. If hardcore football fans like many of us won't be watching the super bowl, that's a big problem for the NFL.

I was kidding, WTE. This playoffs, it seems the teams I pull for is like the kiss of death. LoL. Now, I just gotta find a Patriots hoodie.

Alabama and the Patriots are killing my level of interest of both levels of major football. It just feels like any other team has no chance most years. That isn't fun as a fan.

So how many of you are sending emails to the NFL headquarters letting them know of your disgust with the league? Just venting here doesn't do much.

I really felt that way yesterday in the 4th quarter. It seems like the zebras were just ready to gift the game to the Pats. They hadn't called many penalties the entire game, and as you note the disparity in penalties was very telling.

The Pats likely find a way to win anyways, but damn it, make them earn it!

If super bowl ratings go down, it will send a message.

The NFL will just attribute it to the year long trend
