    I still completely disagree. How many perfectly thrown, uncontested balls are just flat out dropped? Enough for me to say there’s no guarantee that any receiver is 100% going to catch any ball if he’s not interfered with.

    This is how I look at it. If I rush the QB and hit him low, hit him in the head, face mask the shit out of him and break his neck, what’s the worst thing that happens to my team? 15 yd unnecessary roughness call. I might get ejected but my team suffers a 15 yd penalty. PI is such bullshit. Even if it’s a blatant takedown, 15 yds and an auto first down is enough. There’s no such thing a a guaranteed catch so awarding someone 50 yards on a penalty is AFU if you ask me. It’s just too game deciding.
