Is Mills a common name in England?

Having analysed your prose, I conclude that you are not a sex bot, and are in fact human.

Welcome dude, nice to have another brit on here.

Together we can reintroduce the letter s and u to many Americanised words.

I hate Joe, wave and slim. You should hate them too. They really are crass American, backward hicks. You know the sort.

Anyways, this forum is truly great, the people are awesome and I know how lonely being an NFL fan in the UK can be... This forum changes that.

    But Bolton, seriously?

Ironically I live in Germany and my nearest city is twinned with Bolton

Nice welcome, thanks. All four of my teeth are fine, Mills is indeed a common name especially if you are friends with someone of that surname, English Rose sounds like a fine real ale and I am also glad not to be Scottish. Is it Paderborn the twin town you refer to Valar? I know Le Mans is another but not certain about the German one. I went recently to Berlin, fantastic country if that city is anything to go by.

Or is it contry on here?

    Welcome.

But how is it that the English can butcher their own damn language so bad. Also, don't trust Valar. He's not trustable.

Country has a u because it makes a uh sound
Color doesn't have a u because it makes an o sound

I will concede that if you really want to spell color with a u it should be coulor, as the former makes a somewhat uh sound while the latter makes an oh sound. Anywho, y'all screw that up real bad, ya hear?

We can debate better topics than this I'm sure but while you do make a good point, if everything was spelled exactly as it is spoken then a lot of what we say would be almost unreadable - or at best text speak.

I say all of this tongue and cheek.

I know don't worry, I was just being pedantic. Spell things as you wish I'm sure I'll understand it
