Nothing really. Tells me my eyes must be playing tricks on me, or that Elway really likes tall QBs that can't read a defense, or that this Williams dude is making 1/2 what Jamal Charles makes to be on the scout team so he must be good? I get it, Elway didn't want Sloter, I just have no idea why.

I am still holding out hope that Paxton turns into a franchise QB but I am starting to feel Jon has a similar weakness as Al Davis had with speed guys. If they are 6'7" or over draft them!

Jonathan Williams avg'd 5.72 YPC at Arkansas before '15 foot injury. Broke 44 tackles in '14 alone. Tons of talent there. Worth a look, IMO.

We're also four deep at RB and can probably re-sign Ridley if we really needed to. Just seems like a bad use of money. We also have no PS QB and Lynch is hurt, so who runs the scout team, Os?

All late round picks - the guys Elway wanted early in the draft are booth giants, and both on this team right now. He also desperately wanted Lynch to win the starting job this year but he looked worse than the year before, so he (wisely) couldn't force the issue further.

My question as well. I don't think I've ever seen a Broncos roster without a PS scout team QB.

I expected them to sign a PS QB to run the scout team while Lynch was hurt, but what I think this clearly shows is that Denver has no problem shelling out dough to lock a guy up on their practice squad, they only had a problem doing so for Sloter.

Time will tell if they were wrong.

I don't think we had one last year, when we had three QBs on the active roster, did we?

What kind of list was Kelly put on? Has he been shelved the entire season?

Can Kelly practice at all? Can he run the scout team?
