    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

We got rid of kubiaks lame old scheme
Trevor has another year- so does Paxton

How can we have gotten worse?

Just so you know, UR, I have the day off, the wind chill is below zero and I have no plans of going anywhere.

Ware played like 6 games and like 20 snaps a game. We will miss him but not as badly as it seems
Wade- woods- we don't know. I feel the D will be same. Our players are soooo good
And the Injuries on D will be back by week 1 or week 2
Lack of depth where? Show me where it's worse than last year?
Offensive line is better than last year. Check!
Schedule is easier this year. Check!
Qb play won't be any worse than last year. Check.

How did we get worse again?
    Yeesh. This is brutal, UR.

Seriously though. As Broncos fans, we're spoiled. Since we first got to the playoffs in 1977, the Broncos have been in it 23 times. 23 times out of 39-40 years. That's nearly a 60% chance we'll reach the postseason.

    Them are pretty good odds...

Oh, hell. Lots of people made similar predictions. I did too. I thought this team would go 11-5, maybe 10-6. Worst case scenario, I thought, 7-9, but worse than that? No chance.

Well, in retrospect, Trevor, Brock and Paxton together make one extraordinary shit sandwich. They're not just bad. Paxton isn't even good enough to be a backup somewhere. Total and complete bust.

Trevor at least outplayed his 7th round draft status. He can probably find a backup job somewhere. He'll be out of the league soon enough, but until then. As for Brock, I have no idea.

Hopefully Elway has learned a lesson - DO NOT go into a season with a bunch of late round or developmental QBs and no plan if none of them develops into an acceptable starter.

There's a reason why elite QBs are usually drafted in the top 5 picks. There are only 1 or 2 guys in any draft class, usually, who are any good. They go early. There are exceptions, but these exceptions are hard to spot until much later.

And the odds are not in your favor if you draft a QB at #56 (Osweiler), let alone in the 7th round. As for Paxton, he was not an elite prospect, which is why only two teams (the Broncos and Cowboys Jerry JOnes) thought him worthy of a 1st round pick.

No more screwing around. They need to either find an elite QB in FA or else get and develop a QB with their #5 pick (assuming they are sure that guy will be good enough in their system).

    No more screwups!

If we roll with a rookie, we're a 4-6 win team.

If we sign Cousins, and injuries don't kill us, we goin' win 12 games.
