Are they really shopping him? They just got him this year. Is he not following the Patriot Way?

"Rhe P*triots are gauging Koni Ealy trade value", apparently he's running with 3rd stringers and getting beat out by rookie Deatrick Wise.

It actually is the P*triots Way, they make poor personnel decisions that everybody drools over. Just like trading a 1st round pick for a tiny WR with 2 years remaining on his contract.

In P*triots defense (barf), they traded a 2nd for Ealy and a 3rd, essentially trading down 8 spots. But it was heralded as Cheats domination of offseason.

Koni Ealy would be nice in this defense at OLB, imo, 6-4/270 with 4.6 speed, might even drop a few lbs. Let him back up his old college teammate at ROLB for a year, maybe recoup a conditional draft pick if the light stays on and he puts up 7-8 sacks.

    Btw, 6.83 3-cone and 34 1/4" arms. Denver has CB's that can't do 6.83.

Edit, also Broncos are clearly in the market considering they just claimed some stiff DE off waivers from Oakland.

He has always played with his hand in the dirt. Doesn't he have less than ten sacks his entire career?

Jaded, he's a 4-3 power end; Not a good fit.

    Tell that to Broncos.

Broncos just picked up a 6-5/265 scrub DE with 4.98 speed.

Right now Ealy is 8 lbs lighter than DeMarcus Walker.

Given the Broncos record with 2nd round picks the chances are good that Ealy has already accomplished more than both of them will.

Ealy projects just fine to OLB.

Id take him. Id take him and Sheldon and give the Jets any QB on our team they want and sunshine
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

I would definitely give him a shot. I'm just suggesting his five career sacks, or whatever the total is, do not scream "pass rush threat".

It looks like the Patriots got fleeced, which is awesome!
