THIS ONES FOR JOHNWOULD YOU RATHER WIN UGLY, OR LOSE PRETTY?
I like Coach Joseph already.
top, weren't you busy fighting the civil war in 63?
I didn't time it, so the 2.3 seconds maybe wrong (that was Mason and someone else discussing on the radio).
However, as you say, anyone watching the video that isn't on a 12+ month Siemian bashing crusade (or has been a Broncos fan for more than say 3 minutes), can see that as you point out that he's running play action, has his back to his left side of the line. Is able to see the guy beating Watson and as he turns back to the line and starts to slide left and up, he sees the guy that badly beat Garcia.
When (or if since it's preseason) they put up the all 22 film we will see if there was anything close to an open receiver to hit in the fraction of a second that he had.
The contention he could have stepped up in the pocket is so ludicrous that I'm embarrassed to type it even when refuting it.

Okay, here's the link to that clip again:
Please tell the rest of the class where Siemian should've "moved around in the pocket" in the <3 seconds between snap and sack. Not to his right, clearly, since that's where he WAS sacked. Not forward, since that's where Unrein (yes, THAT Unrein) blew by Bolles (yikes!) so quickly he actually got a piece of the sack, too. Not to his left, since that's where Green whiffed his block and CJ didn't even attempt one on yet a THIRD pass rusher racing through our backfield <3 seconds after the snap.
This isn't a debate over whether Siemian—nor ANY passer—"should've" been sacked, it's a debate over WHERE. In which case all answers are equally bad.
Yeah, because he's gone—yet all your copiously cited "evidence" against him remains in Denver; why is that, exactly...?
Feel free to take your time responding: I need some time to cope with the sudden realization our projected starting LT got beat in <3 seconds by Mitch Unrein....
Oh, valid point. I thought you meant all starters, you should take the time to be more descriptive, don't be shy. —Jaded
