Thread: Which direction do you prefer the opening to face when eating a sammich?

I guess the open side of mine usually faces the right now that I think about it. You just made me think of something I've literally never given a single thought to.

Let me rephrase: hard shell tacos are fine but I never eat them. I basically only eat the traditional soft tortilla kind. So I have no idea what direction I would tilt to eat a hard shell taco.

The only way I could get a hard shell taco is by going to Taco Bell.....and **** that. I'll stick to the taco trucks.

I'd guess the direction would coincide with your dominant hand. Mine face left. As do tacos when I eat them, and I tilt my head to the right.

I enjoy a soft taco, but it's hard to beat the hard one.

El o El. I like both. You can get tacos dorados which are basically a soft tortilla rolled up and fried. Kind of like a flauta or I've seen some people in the states call them taquitos, but I don't like them.

Give me the original Mexican taco with a soft corn tortilla or one with the Taco Bell/Old El Paso type of crunchy shell.

...and the proper way to eat them, your pinky can't touch the taco. Three fingers and a thumb only.

I never cared for the specifics, just the taco.
