I do prefer the throwbacks but it's the changing corporate culture. The problem with the throwback one is the "D" which stands for "Denver" (or defense if you want to believe that).
The current logo was developed by Nike along with the swoosh-like touches all over it. NEWSFLASH: It was never designed to market the Denver Broncos. It was designed to market the Nike brand and you now see that logo representing hundreds of high school and college teams across the country.
So the anti-corporatist in me wants the D that says "Denver" over the horse that says "Nike". The only reason I would favor the Nike horse is that we are 3-1 in Super Bowls with it while we were 0-4 with the D helmet.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
I don't think that I would use any of those helmets, but I would like to see a change. Denver's unis need an overhaul.
