The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
Different results. First of all it took 2 years for TD to try and come back. Then he wasn't able to move very well. TD had a "bone on bone" condition in his knees after his injury due to the loss of cartilage. Jamaal Charles has had 2 ACL reconstructions. Completely different injuries. If Jamaal Charles had the same condition in his knee TD had the Broncos would never have signed him.
TDs injury was more akin to what happened to Courtney Brown after the 2005 season. His knees flared up every time he tried to run on them. If we start hearing that Charles has knee issues in training camp and has to sit out practices, etc., then we will know it's the same. As of right now though, he's 100% good to go.
With JC's all around skill, if he is anywhere close to being healthy and shows that he is at-least a decent runner to go with his great pass catching, he will make the roster. He is on a cheap deal.
I love this signing. That's said my enthusiasm is tempered. Andy Reid if there's one thing I learned having lived in Philadelphia is pretty good at seeing when veterans are washed up. I can literally not think of one player that he let go that ended up being a stud elsewhere. see Stephenson, Donald, Jeremiah Trotter, McNabb and the lot
