    Default Chris Cornell dead

*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Maybe my favorite Soundgarden song (although it's tough to say), I love the jangly guitar riff at the beginning. Had to be a hollow body electric.

WTF?!!!!!!! One of my all time favorites. I saw Soundgarden at the 2nd Lollapalooza in like 92 and again a few years later in Charlotte. So sad right now.

RIP. 52 is way to young.

Holy crap! Just saw this. I had tickets to see them Monday and this just hit me like a ton of bricks. I am happy I got to see them with Nine Inch Nails at Red Rocks a few years ago, probably one of my favorite bands from that era...

    RIP Chris.

One of the most charismatic frontmen I have ever seen live. Audioslave had some gems, too.

First saw Chris in 92 in Seattle at a Ministry/Sepultura show. Was a surprise, he wasn't on the bill, but then again neither were McCready and some other Seattle rockers of the time.

    RIP dude.

Man, that REALLY sucks. Way too young. Loved Soundgarden and Audioslave both. One of the bands that got me interested in being in bands myself

Article say's they finished last nights show with Led Zeppelin, In my time of dying so I looked at the last 10 set lists and they never even played that song. Was probably contemplating it for a while.

I was able to see Soundgarden and Audioslave and I've said this many times, the Audioslave show was one of the best shows I have ever seen.

Suicide, that makes it even more gut-wrenching.

Read about that as well. Wow. I was thinking an OD due to way past drug issues, but suicide? Sad.
