    You should try a plant based whole foods diet.......not saying it will cure you, but if you have a sick stomach every day of your life, it might be worth trying to see if it changes anything

    never quite understood this disease, I hope you turn it around/go into remission, however that works.

    The condition that causes it never goes away. I just have to make lifestyle choices to lessen the chances of the inflammation re-occurring. The majority of it is what WTE said: a lot of water and fiber

    It's true, my son started eating more healthy and drinking more water and his issues have lessened quite a bit.

    I don't know if completing removing meat is the answer, but more vegetables is definitely part of the solution. I pleaded with my son for a year to eat more fruit and vegetables and to drink more water. He still poops a lot, but it's more stable, without the bloody stools
