An injured JT with no chemistry with his QB is still superior to the trash TE's we have and have had on our roster. We were fools to let him go and each year he was gone he could have been phenomenal for us. He would have been especially useful last year as our two QB's threw the ball against the middle of the field like Buff and I chug down beers.
Joe, do you ever get tired of taking L's from King?
The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
The only reason a JT is worth having on the roster is if you have a Peyton Manning that can use said JT-device to convert in the red-area. Without a top-10/15 QB, you might as well have a roster full of Darbys and Greens that can meaningfully contribute the 90% of the snaps when the ball isn't a JT-target.
I don't understand why Green isn't targeted more. He's got a solid catch% rate, 57 of 81, 70%.
