Gotsis' problems weren't simply lack of core strength, but technique as well. He can work on gaining strength and he apparently has, but he simply didn't show up at all last year. He didn't make plays. His jersey was the cleanest on the entire defense. The trainers didn't even need to wash Gotsis' jersey after games because he never worked up a sweat.
THat has got to stop and gaining strength is just the first requirement. Then he has to play with more aggressiveness, and better technique too. Finally, he has to show good football instincts of read & react. He has yet to do any of that, so we'll see how he does in year two.
