I hate to give Michael Lombardi credit for anything, but he said Foster would be there at the top of the second round. Still a real possibility at this point.

There are also other TEs in this draft (GOD DAMMIT WE'D BETTER GET ONE). There were VERY few acceptable LTs and we still have our picks for moving around. If Bolles works, it makes the rest of the offense functional.

    He'd better work.

Don't worry we'll have an old rookie who isn't markedly better than the backups he's supposed to supplant to block them.

Of the tackles projected to go in the first round, Bolles was the Broncos' guy all along.

Broncos love his nastiness on the field. Remember Vance Joseph has spoken often about the mindset of his players. Fits the mold.

#Broncos love Bolles' toughness, mentality. His growth off the field was a sign of his maturity. The repeated label: "Perfect fit."

I can confirm the Broncos inquired about the availability of Cleveland LT Joe Thomas. They've shown interest for three years. Ship sailed.

They can throw him in there whether he's ready or not. Remember they did that with Ty Sambrailo back in 2015. (Although in fairness to the Broncos they didn't anticipate Ryan Clady's injury).

So, they will most certainly TRY and get him ready to start game 1. But, Ty Sambrailo will probably be better than him day 1. This could be one of those scenes where Sambrailo outplays him in the pre-season, he struggles starting in the NFL and the fans go nuts.

Hopefully he's starting from day one. It will be pretty sad if Denver's last 2 first round picks are sitting on the bench.

I think they'll start him at RT.

They could have traded for him 2 years ago. But, Cleveland fired the idiots who considered that trade. I said, to much criticism that there was no way Cleveland was trading Joe Thomas. Now, I'm proved right. They aren't trading him.

BTW: Reuben Foster's medical re-check caused him to fall.

The Broncos tried to trade up for Christian McCaffrey - confirmed.
