Sounds like it's really happening. Ugh. I hope he sucks there!

If all goes according to plan, Marshawn Lynch will be a member of the Oakland Raiders by the end of Wednesday.

Lynch's representatives and the team have agreed to terms on a one-year contract and the Raiders and Seahawks have already hashed out the details of a trade that would send Lynch's rights to his hometown team, multiple sources informed of the progress of negotiations on both ends of the deal have told NFL.com

The draft compensation will be a swap of late-round picks in 2018.

The only thing standing in the way of the five-time Pro Bowl running back's return is for him to take a physical with the Raiders. Two sources said the team expects Lynch to do just that on Wednesday after he returns to the Bay Area from his trip to Haiti, where he and his former Seahawks teammates Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett have been touring the country to help build schools and houses.

Lynch was slated to be back in the country on Tuesday but didn't catch his flight.

Meh. He just turned 31 and hasn't played in almost 2 seasons. Maybe he's got a little something left in the tank, but how effective can he be for a full season? It seems like more of a PR move for the fans in Oakland to get butts in the seats before they leave town.

On the other hand, he's had 2 years to rest his body, which is a good thing for a RB.

He also split time with Fred Jackson at the beginning of his career

He's not going to live up to expectations.

Looking forward to these two game now, a lot.

I disagree with Von Kinger's opinion that Lynch will underperform.

The NFL's more beast-modely runner behind that line? With a couple years of rest, still in his window (obv toward the end)? In his hometown?

Lynch will be a total bust. And will end up with CTE
