MW is a stud, man. He could be a bust, but his film is pure football baller juice-fire.

I could see Mike Williams being drafted and allows us to trade/cut DT and his contract in a couple of years, just like we drafted Shane Ray knowing he'd spend two years behind DeMarcus Ware and be ready to step in just as soon as the opportunity arose.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

I'm going to take a break on this--feels like we've covered just about everything--but jump in if you have an interesting scenario.

i hear ya, homie. . . fair warning, though-- don't be mad at me if you don't find me to be very reasonable on this one. . .

i basically never want to spend a first on a receiver or tight end, even when it's a top need-- let alone when it's not really. . . don't get me wrong, i do both understand and appreciate the concept of BPA. . . i also believe in the law of diminishing returns, though. . . and IMO, right now we're already over-invested in a pair of stud wideouts who we don't get full value out of, since we don't have a QB who can get them the ball regularly. . . if we can't get a taco, take taco-- or tahk, or jabril. . .

DT was the right pick when he was taken

He was taken before Dez Bryant -much to the chagrin of a lot of analysts and people- and has had by far the better career.

I make the exception for McCaffrey because I think he will be a solid contributor *and* a marketing star because of his dad and his looks. IOW, he would be worth more to the Broncos than he would most teams because of the family connection.

Except, he won't be there at 20. Which I'm happy about because we have bigger needs and i dont want Elway to fall into the trap many fans are. If his name was McDonald and he was from Texas, the local hype and interest would be much less. I say let a team like Indy or Philly have him.
