    Default 2016-2017 College Basketball Thread

I thought we had one of these for this year.

Either way, watching UVA/ND right now in the ACC Tourney and not liking the home cooking officiating that the Irish are getting right now in New York. But either way, i expect UVA to get a seeding of at the very least 6-10 seed.

Anyone else been paying attention this year?

    I have not -- I don't really have a team anymore.

I went to a couple Nebraska Cornhusker games this season (Nebrasketball as the Nebraskans call it). They aren't very good but my girlfriend gets free tickets from her attending, so I'm always down to go. The second game was cool because they played against Michigan State and Tyronn Lue came back to get his jersey retired.

Anyway, the field looks pretty open. I'd say a team like Kansas would be the favorites, but they just got bounced by TCU in the Big XII tourney. I just want to see some buzzer beaters and upsets!

I'm sorry you had to go to a Nebrasketball game this year, but that'd be the game to go to.

    Michigan just upset Purdue.

I loosely follow Georgetown, Northman. So I won't be seeing my team in the tournament.

We lost to ND last in the ACC Tourney, it wasnt that pretty. I hope we have a better showing in the NCAA if we even make it in.

I no longer root for UK. Or any Ohio based team.

Im going to be doing a March Madness Bracket in case anyone is interested. However, it requires me to invite via email so if anyone is interested in participating just PM me your email address so i can invite you. There are only 10 spots (right now its just me) so the slots are limited but if you want to play this year just PM me with your email info. \m/

This Kentucky/Bama game is good. Bama came out hot and lead 17-7 early but now Kentucky has stormed back to have a 34-26 lead.

Did/do you live near the Lincoln area? I remember you're a Chadron grad.

One redeeming thing about Nebrasketball is Eric Piatkowski has his jersey retired there. He might be the only guy from Rapid City to have played in the NBA.

I live in central Nebraska now. I have to follow the basketball team for work. They were awful this year. I really like Miles, he's just at a tough place to win.
