Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey won the day for the running back group. Natural hands, loose and fluid COD, great 40 and jumps. So natural.

I know the combine only means so much, but McCaffery is killing these drills. Great speed, quickness, hands, everything so far.

I would take the w. Mich kid (corey?) at 20 for value, otherwise concur. Might pass on Williams, even. Idk. Roster doesn't call for WR but some talent you can't on, ceteris parabis.

I'm crazy though, I'd take Sidney Jones (cb) at 20 even though we have 3 reasonable cbs on the roster. Just seems too good of a talent to last until 20.

Bollen mccaffery and howard are all on broncos radars and so far killing it at combine.

Interesting observation... McCaffrey, Kamara and few others ran routes from the slot at the end of the RB workout. Both looked natural

This combine is $$ in the bank for C-Mac.

For me, it's that he's a high-floor player. It's not his ceiling, it's his floor. He's accountable, loves football, lots of proof of production. He may not live up to a #20 pick, but I don't see him falling that far short of it. Other players? It can be more of a risk. Plus, his game could transition really well with the right situation, and he may end up being a high ceiling guy anyway.

Reuben Foster was scheduled to do team interviews tonight and team tests Saturday; now scheduled to fly home to Tuscaloosa on Saturday.

All one NFL spokesman would say was that Reuben Foster was being sent home for "personal reasons" and did not want to comment any further.
