Same, except I can get behind BPA thought process if the guy is a legit threat. You could go through each draft since forever and find guys that a team could have drafted at a position of "non-need" that would have been optimal expected wins-added players over the next 5 years. Take a John Ross--not who I want, but playing devil's advocate--if he's a Steve Smith 2.0 or better, an uncoverable guy--you draft him and laugh at the league.

That's the thing, he's not a combine warrior. He just ran faster by about 0.1s than anyone expected, and 4.22 is the real deal. His film says he's fast enough.
