Probably a little of both as you can certainly question some of the playcalling by Atlanta in the second half. But.. this past SB reminds me of that time that BB and NE came into Denver way back when and stole a game in the final minutes. I cant remember the entire scenario as its been a while but i know that NE took an intentional safety late in the game. BB will go down as one of the best coaches to ever coach in the NFL and more times than not BB is not afraid to make second half adjustments when he knows that something isnt working in the first half. He clearly out coached the Falcons and showed why he is one of the best ever in that regard.
I rejected the narrative before I read the story - and then thought it was a little vacuous after reading. Like, he spends the last couple paragraphs talking about all the mistakes the Falcons made, but then he somehow argues that we should ignore those because the Patriots made mistakes too?
Anyway - it was a hell of a comeback and I don't want to sell it short - but weeks later I still can't believe the Falcons allowed Ryan to get strip sacked or that they ran 5 2nd half running plays. They choked for sure.
i heard gronk getting traded for jj watt
