My concern about Paradis (besides how he recovers from the injury) is that he's kind of on the small side for a C. He actually might have been the only guy on the line who was suited to the ZBS we were attempting to play last year. More power this year should benefit guys like Garcia and McGovern, but I'm not sure it helps Paradis. I wouldn't jump to extend him just yet, and I say this as someone who likes the guy.

Paradis is 305. I don't think that's small for a center; maybe for a guard, but not a center.

Paradis couldn't even practice during the season, he was so injured. He just went out and battled all season. But, you can't lead the OL from the training room during the week, and the C is supposed to be the guy to set the OL - he's their leader.

If he's healthy, he'll be fine.

I checked, there were 14 C's that weighed more than Paradis in his draft class, most nominally, the heaviest being 320.

a better comparison would be his current weight vs. all other starting centers. . . it's hardly the be all, end all, though. . . if a guy is 325 and sucks, he still sucks. . .

through the first half of the Season before the hips really started to give him trouble, he had graded out as Pro Football Focus top ranked Center in 2016

definitely not looking them all up, but let's look at some of the better ones. . . paradis is listed at 300. . .

max unger 305, alex mack 311, maurkice pouncey 304, rodney hudson 300, ryan kalil 300, corey linsley 301, mike pouncey 299. . . the guy in KC is 305, guy in new england is 295-- the smallest i saw listed was the dude in new orleans at 287. . . big boy travis frederick in dallas is 318, and he's the only one i saw who was higher than mack's 311. . .

i know you have a perception that broncos OLs are all puny weaklings, but it's simply not accurate in paradis' case. . . he's just as big as some of the best centers in the game-- if he is smaller than average, it's literally by a pound or two. . .

    I don't give a **** how much he weighs.

*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

I'm the one who posted that Paradis was actually normal sized in his class? Most were right around 300-310, only one weighed as much as 320.
