Thank you. Finally someone remembers how truly awesome Jim Kelly was. It seems as years go by since his retirement football fans continually fail to mention him when they discuss top QB's of all time. However, watching Jim Kelly command his K-Gun offense was pure art. It was one of the most enjoyable offenses to watch.

Thanks for remembering him Magnificent 7 but IMO he's in front of Bradshaw and Moon.

    1. Elway
    2. Peyton Manning
    3. Tom Brady
    4. Joe Montana
    5. Dan Marino

The rest... whatever. They are all interchangeable.

Speaking of interchangeable the reason I have Elway as #1 is because if you put him on ANY of the teams the other top 4 played for in his prime he would have won just as many if not more championships. If you put Montana on any of the 80's Broncos teams they would have barely made the playoffs. Elway and Manning made the teams they were on better, and I think Brady even does that to an extent. I just don't see Montana, Marino, etc. dragging teams up to their level. They just played well with good teams.

Regardless of how we rank them, the important thing is that Tom Brady got booed in front of 125 million fans at Super Bowl 50.

Mobile gunslingers over the pure pocket passers in my opinion.

    Elway
    Rodgers
    Young
    Favre
    Even Big Ben

Montana a little bit of both but a notch below those guys.

    Then the rest.

    Peyton
    Brady
    Marino
    Kelly
    Moon
    Aikmen
    Brees

If I am starting a franchise I'd want one of those top 5 guys before I took a pure pocket passer.

There's more statistics and rings on the second list. I'm just saying.

Truth be told I like the mobility as well. Elway developed into a very savvy QB. All of those guys except maybe Favre did. Or Favre just didn't care. Maybe both.
