Default Broncos will pick between 16-20 depending on week 17

At least if we win this weekend it won't wildly change our draft position. I'll be hoping for a win while secretly being ok with a L.

Yeah, Week 17 matters little in the grand scheme of things. They would be in a position either way to get someone valuable, and we know Elway has the gumption to move up or down for the guy he likes (right or wrong)...
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Should get (now tradeable) comp picks for Trevathan, Malik and Oz too.

I don't think I've ever wanted the Broncos to lose. But, this week I will be totally fine with a loss. If we lose it screws over the Chiefs and hands a first round bye to a Raiders team with very little hope of winning a playoff game regardless of seeding and home field advantage. Basically my hatred for the Chiefs is driving me to be absolutely okay with a loss to the Raiders. **** the chiefs and everything about them and their shitty franchise, **** em right in their **** holes.

I want a win. I know a loss is better. I know a loss does what you just described. So I'll be okay with a loss in the sense that it doesn't really matter...but...I like winning.

Oh trust me, I'll be rooting for a win and totally rooting for the Broncos on Sunday, but if at the end of the day we lose I will laugh and go to Chiefs planet and bask in the glory of Chiefs fans bitching about how even when the Broncos lose they're ******* over the Chiefs.
