Thread: Guess Cowboy fans are not near as enamored with Dak as i thought they might be

Such a shame, the dude has played well for most of the year despite being a rookie and has happened to have 2 bad games against the same division opponent and now fans want Romo to come back in? Oh my.

It was bound to happen. With a rookie QB in Dak Prescott unlikely to have the responding success he’s seen during the majority of the season thus far, Cowboys fans always had the awaiting Tony Romo on the sideline.

Some of those fans are now calling for the benching of Prescott in favor of the veteran who’s been cleared to play for three weeks now after a single game from Prescott against the Giants Sunday night.

It was inevitable that good defenses would eventually catch up with the weaknesses he has as a rookie and be able to exploit them. Now it creates a blueprint for other solid defenses. How he responds against TB next week will say a lot. But with a great OL and strong running game, I dont think he was tested all that much against the likes of the Browns , Eagles, Niners, Ravens, Bears, etc. The team has definitely benefitted from their schedule. Next 3 will be interesting with the Giants only 2 back now.

We need Romo fresh for next year.

At least with our situation it can be argued both QB's are almost a wash. Being a 11-2 the way the Cowboys are is a bit more of a head scratcher to me.

Some Dallas fans are racist and can't accept a black quarterback.

He's struggled the past 2 games. If he does so again it might be time to think about Romo starting. I'd really like to see Romo get a ring. He's underrated and carried a bad team for many years.
