Default David Bruton released from Redskins

With our ST struggles I'd be suprised if Elway didn't try to bring this guy back.

If we were talking about adding a former WR I would completely agree that they try to bring him back.

It's a complete no-brainer to bring him back in if he is looking for a job until the end of the season. He was a team captain for three seasons, and did not choke or let the team down when he hit the field on defense. Obviously, he was not worth $9 million, but he will be back on a roster and hopefully it's this one.

I'd be surprised if we did add him. But I'd love to have my horse faced friend back. P is doing all sorts of prayer dances right now
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

I would love to have David back...I think we can really use him on ST.... Having too many men on the line is what really bugged me on Sunday....I would hope a ST captain would know that rule... plus I like him....

Seems like the big (only?) change from our great 2015 STs to our awful 2016 STs is the absence of Bruton and Bolden (who's also been a FA since the Bears cut him during camp.) Get this done.
Oh, valid point. I thought you meant all starters, you should take the time to be more descriptive, don't be shy. Jaded

I think Bibbs was playing Bruton's spot in punt coverage when he got that huge holding call.

With the exception of last week, in don't think our special teams have been that bad.

I would like him back though, but for a lot less than that crazy contract he got in Washington

How about the week took 4 kicks out to the 15 yard line?

Yeah, that was some strange decision making, but we were trailing and I think they were trying to get something going because our offense was stalling.

Poor execution, but I can live with that. Every decision to run the ball back is a boom or bust, I just don't see the 2012, 13 and 14 dumpster fire yet

Bibbs and Norwood are trash. They make me want to go back to my Style Don days.
