The newer models have expandable storage. I have a 7' Fire tab that is the new model and it has a microSD slot. I had an older version of it previously before my son bathed it in milk and it did not have the added storage and was somewhat of a pain due to this.

I've got a few different readers, but still prefer a book in my hands.

It's handy being able to download stuff, but it's just not the same. I download books on my tablets, but I just prefer having an actual book in my hands.

I got my cover yesterday via UPS or some shit. I couldn't believe how nicely it fit the paperwhite. It's like it was made for it. I'll post a pic sometime

Do they have expandable storage for a 6 yet? Or is it 7 and bigger?

Not sure, but to be honest, the 7' is $49... It's amazingly priced for a fully functional tablet of that size. I have always felt it was the perfect size as well, the text is easy to read, and you can hold the tablet in one hand while reading and switch between pages one handedly easily.

Agree, but the ability to switch between reading and listening is a big draw for me. Fixes a problem with dead time in car.

What kind of happiness is it? Is it warm? Glowy? Subdued? Smug? Rapturous?

You can't end on this note.

I think that's what my daughters have. They seem a little glitchy. Of course, maybe they had an update to fix that.

I don't have many issues with mine, then again I have mine side loaded with the google play store so I can get my apps from the play store rather than the Amazon store... The Amazon store sucks!

Yep, that's why I enjoy it. I have about a 30 minute commute so I get a decent amount of book time in every day just to and from work.

It wasn't overly difficult. I'll post the link when I get home that way you can look at it and judge for yourself. I say it wasn't difficult, but I'm a fairly advanced user so what is easy for me, might not be easy for others.
